Want to help prevent unwanted tickets or fines after you get rid of your vehicle?  After selling or trading in your vehicle, make sure you file a report of sale with the state.  You just need to know your Washington license plate number and vin#.  There is no charge to complete this form online at http://www.dol.wa.gov/ .  You can also complete the process at your local license agency, but there might be a small fee.  If your vehicle is from another state, you may want to contact that state directly.
